The co-op’s musician-members offset workshop costs by performing in the lab orchestra.
Our workshops feature instruction from co-op co-founder Chris Rountree (Wild Up, Long Beach Opera) and a variety of guest conductors. The co-op’s musician-members trade roles as conductors and instrumentalists. Each workshop cycle is built around intensive study of a musical work, and is divided into three sections: Private Lessons, Gesture Sesstions, and Lab Orchestra. Members must attend all workshop events.
